Welcome to the website of ACUA International. The ACUA is formed to unite users world wide. Most of us are users that never meet. We aspire to bring people together by organising learning events on various locations worldwide. For the moment we concentrate on Europe. Our regular events, start in January with the Winterschool in Austria, followed by the Spring Academy, in a different country every two years, in May, an international Sailing event in June and the Archicad Summerschool in the UK in September. AND still expanding! For the moment we concentrate mainly on Europe but negotiations are ongoing to expand into the US and Africa.
For the moment Membership is still free and there is no difference between becoming a Member and joining our Mailinglist.
Our Users Group is run by a team of volunteers is totally independent and self financing in order to allow us to vent our own views which not necessarily are the same as Graphisoft’s views. We also should be able to embrace other software that can be used in conjunction with ArchiCAD. We all love our ArchiCAD and are very happy with new improvements. The Users Group should be critical but also supportive of the developments that are ongoing. Apart from bringing users together, the users group should make sure that Graphisoft does not fall asleep and keeps ahead of the competition. That is in the interest of all of us, including Graphisoft. Together we can make a difference.
